How to get Rocket League crates
Rocket League, created and distributed by Psyonix, is a vehicular soccer computer game. It is available to play on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Linus, PS 4, and OS X.
In Rocket League, crates are especially dropped items. Presented in Patch v1.22, they contain Decals, Rocket Trails, Wheels, and Battle-Cars.
The only way to get crates for the game is by playing online matches. In the wake of the matches played online, the crates are dropped randomly. There is a limit to the items that are dropped after every game, but the crates are exempted from the list of items. They do not come in the normal item drop limit. You can consider them to be an entirely different system.
The only way that the crates can be opened is by acquiring keys. These keys are only accessible by purchasing them from the “Manage Inventory” and “Crate Unlock” menus.
Opening the crate will uncover a random exclusive item. There is also a possibility of procuring a certified or painted variant of said item. But it all depends on chance and not how much you play.
Each crate has one of a kind “series” of the item. Items in each crate can be categorized as Rare, Very Rare, Import, Exotic, and Black Market.
Due to “Trade Hold”, the purchased keys cannot be exchanged. The Trade Hold keeps the players from exchanging keys with each other for seven days from the time of procurement of the keys. Once the key opens the crate, the rest of the Trade Hold is transferred to the item that was obtained from opening the crate.
The keys can be acquired by buying them from the marketplace of the particular stage of the game you are at. They can be purchased in the sets of 1, 5, 10, and 20.
